Hutton Club

The Hutton Club is a seminar series that focuses on current topics in physical geography and Earth surface processes. It is open to students and staff across the University.

Topics include:

  • geomorphology
  • hydrology
  • glaciology 
  • sedimentology

We invite colleagues from other institutions to give a 45-minute talk on a new or interesting aspect of their research. The talk will also include 15 minutes of questions at the end, where you can ask about the speaker’s research. 

The Hutton Club is open to:

  • undergraduate students
  • postgraduate students
  • staff members

We encourage people of all backgrounds from our University to join us!
