Download application form Document IMF pilot project application form (98.74 KB / DOCX) Timeline: Applications can be submitted at any time while the scheme is active. Ionprobe staff will meet regularly (every ~2 months) to assess project feasibility and approve applications. Due to limited funding and capacity, only a small number of projects can be approved in each round. Feasible projects that were not approved due to these limitations will be considered in the next round.Notes: Funding is limited and subject to availability. If too many applications are received, preference will be given to projects submitted by PhD students. Supporting analyses (e.g. by SEM, EPMA) and costs for sample preparation are not covered. No support towards travel or subsistence will be provided by the facility. Remote access may be possible. This article was published on 2026-02-24
