Geographies of Social Justice

The Geographies of Social Justice research group aims to provide a supportive, exciting, and intellectually challenging space for critical scholarship.

We are a group of human geographers engaged in politically committed and theoretically informed scholarship aimed at progressive and radical political transformation and the pursuit of social justice and human dignity.

Our members are currently undertaking research in various locations; including Cuba, Edinburgh, Guatemala, and Nepal. Whilst diverse in approach and focus, our work holds in common a commitment to questions of inequality, power and justice.
