Research determines that a recurring climate pattern in the North Atlantic is also the main driver of oxygen changes in the tropical Pacific. This has a major effect on how we predict oxygen levels and protect marine ecosystems. 

A British satellite is set to map the state of the earth’s tropical forests in 3D for the first time, delivering crucial data in the fight against climate change.

  • Geography and the Lived Environment Institute
  • Global Change Institute

 We also host national and international centres and have established research links on every continent.
